Patch 4-10-2025


Hello lumberjacks! Today I'm releasing a minor patch to update the project to a newer version of the Unity engine. Along with this patch I also decided to roll out some changes I've been experimenting with for a while, such as switching the render pipeline to support 2D lighting! Full patch notes can once again be seen below:


- Updated the project to Unity 2019.4.41f1.

- Added glow to certain items, such as coins and potions.

- Subtle changes to background lighting & colors in various levels.

- Subtle changes to level design in various levels.

- Secret areas no longer require a melee attack to be revealed, and can now simply be walked into.

- Axe swing windup time has been removed, and axe throw cooldown has been shortened.

- Other minor fixes.


I hope you all continue to enjoy Lumberjump with this update! New content is sadly on hold at the moment as I'm busy working on Coasteroid, but I did want to finally push these changes out as I feel they make the game more enjoyable. Stay tuned for future announcements about my projects!
